After licensing QQ Sweeper and Idol Dreams earlier this month, Shojo Beat’s Twitter announced it has acquired Bloody Mary, a vampire shounen-ai series by SAMAMIYA Akaza, and Honey So Sweet (Honey), a love story between a shy girl and deliquent by MEGURO Amu. I’m sure I’ll be picking up the latter. Vampires…meh.
Viz Media also has been picking up some of Tokyopop’s old releases for a digital release (Someday’s Dreamers: Spellbound, Girls Bravo). Let’s hope more of Tokyopop’s titles are rescued and released in print!
