This is just a list of all my Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ All Star After Secret posts. Feel free to link to this page.

It’s worth repeating the review is spoiler light for this game, but it contains spoilers for the previous games in the series. The summaries are full of spoilers for this game and all previous ones. They are also quite lengthy. Quartet Night each has two routes; Starish has one each.

Please remember this is to supplement the game, not replace the experience. Characters, plot, and visuals all belong to Broccoli. This is a fan-work meant to help others enjoy the game.

Support Broccoli and the Utapri franchise by buying a copy! The game can be played on any PSP system and is available in a regular edition and a limited edition (Sweet & Bitter Box, includes mini-magazine and a drama CD) at various retailers including Solaris Japan, YesAsia, Play-Asia, and CDJapan. Shipping rates vary.

I have been looking for an English language version of this or really any Uta no Prince sama game. (or french, german, russian…)

I think all your links are to JP only versions? If you happen to have a clue where I could find an En patched one I will love you forever!

There are several summaries and mini-translations out there, but there are no foreign language versions of any of the games.

However, the mobile game is supposed to get an English version. Perhaps if that’s successful, a company may pick it up. NISA said they would look at it, but no updates in about a year and a half. Quite frankly, I wouldn’t hold my breath.

If you do decide to import it, I can recommend some sites. Of course, I’d also be willing to help explain any parts you don’t understand. The first game in particular has some good summaries, but the whole series isn’t too hard to understand because of all the typical anime/shoujo tropes.

It would be hilarious if this is what finally gets me to learn Japanese…

It’s amazing how much you pick up when you’re forced to fly blindly at points.

I can’t believe, almost 2023, we are getting remasters on Nintendo Switch, but still NO ENGLISH?! WHY?
Not even fan-translated?! It’s a legend VN series, seriously! What happens?

I imagine the costs to license these games would be high between the VAs and the music costs. Beyond that, most of the otome games getting licensed tend to have strong fantasy elements, and although some routes have more supernatural elements, most routes are more romance. The first game of the series would also likely need to be reworked since one of the minigames is writing the lyrics.

That being said, Broccoli’s Jack Jeanne is being released, and perhaps if gamers can show strong demand for one of their otome titles, someone will take a chance on UtaPri. That would be awesome, even if it had to be crowdfunded.

Still, even in Japan, I’m not sure what’s going on with the series. I know COVID affected a lot of game developments, but Dolce Vita seems to be in development hell. Maybe after All Star After Secret’s port they’ll announce more about, but there’s been no updates since announcing it was being moved to Switch in 2019.
