I was very surprised to see Kodansha USA releasing special editions. This just shows how big of a juggernaut Attack on Titan is for them. If these two volumes are successful, perhaps they (and other companies) will release more.
But, of course, the winner is Udon Entertainment with their acquisition of The Rose of Versailles. This shoujo manga was on my (and many others’) wishlist. I hope people will buy it and show companies we want to see more older titles. Let’s make The Rose of Versailles a success!

A Steins;Gate manga? Cool. I loved the anime and visual novel.
Don’t have to wait too long. Volume 1 comes out next month.
I was ecstatic when I heard Udon licensed The Rose of Versailles. I read a little of vol1 over 15 years ago in Germany when it was serialized in one of the comics magazines. It’ll be SO nice to finally read it in English.
If I had been told 2 days ago The Rose of Versailles manga would be licensed, I would have laughed and said, “Yeah, right.” I swear I’m looking out the window to see any pigs fly by.
