I’m probably picking it up. I don’t think it’s going to go much lower, at least not for a long while.
Even as a visual novel, Clannad is pretty expensive. I say go for it.
Since we were on this topic, if you don’t mind, I would like your opinion on Amnesia. It’s been discounted to 90% before and since later this year there’s going to be a Summer sale, do you reckon it’s likely for Amnesia to be discounted more then 85% during then?
I was wondering that myself. I know Summer sales are huge and Idea Factory games tend to go on sale quite often. I really have no clue.
Worse case scenario, however, is that Amnesia will go on sale again for 85% sometime. If it goes down to 90% again, great; if not, you’ll pay the same price later. I guess it comes down to whether you think $1.50 is worth to play it right now.
I personally don’t mind the 85%, but I don’t mind waiting either and obviously would prefer it to be cheaper because I have to pay in AUD. So I guess I’ll have to decide. Sale prices aside, does all games go on sale during the summer sale or not? I only recently started an account on steam so I’m not sure about the sales.
A large amount of games go on sale, but not every game does. So while Amnesia has gone on sale quite a few times, it may or may not in the summer. Who knows, Idea Factory may have their own sale and randomly discount it one weekend.

I try to keep away from Steam (or else I spend too much on things I never play) but I did snap up Clannad. It’s a VN I have always wanted to read, but the high price had deterred me from downloading until now.
