Initial impressions:
The Ace Attorney comparisons are obvious, and that’s the kind of adventure game/visual novel I wish we could see more of. And in Tears of Themis, you get that combined with the otome game-ness of titles like Collar x Malice or the not-available-in-English Binary Star. The Japanese cast miHoYo assembled is quite impressive — very impressive in fact, as they are all well-known seiyuu. Plus the art looks well-done as well. I’m not a fan of gacha games, so I’m hoping this is one of those where it’s possible to finish the story for free. But I really like visual novels where there’s a little more to do besides pick a choice, move on, so I am optimistic. I hope to share my thoughts on Tears of Themis eventually!

This looks really promising and it’s so cool we get a chance to become betas for it!
Absolutely on both counts!
