An Important Announcement

As of February 4th, http://daiyamanga.wordpress.com/ will no longer redirect to https://daiyamanga.com/.

Many of you were so kind to follow me in my first two years, when I was hosted by WordPress.com. After I switched to being self-hosted (i.e. a WordPress.org site), I purchased the site redirection feature to automatically send visitors from http://daiyamanga.wordpress.com/ to the new site’s URL (https://daiyamanga.com). But I have chosen not to renew.

At the time Daiyamanga v2 launched, I did follow instructions to import all my dear followers, but I know many of you can attest to issues with WordPress’ Reader randomly deleting or hiding blogs.

If you would like to continue to follow Daiyamanga on WordPress, please check your followed sites list. If you want to manage your followed sites, please go here for instructions, which also shows the method for adding any site manually. Feel free to delete http://daiyamanga.wordpress.com/ from your list, but I hope that you re-follow! Otherwise, please use the Follow me on WordPress link to the right (on desktop) or at the bottom of the page (on mobile).

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. This post will remain stickied to the top of my homepage for approximately two weeks.

As always, thank you for following and supporting Daiyamanga!

Welcome to Daiyamanga v2!

It’s the second anniversary of this site, and to celebrate, Daiyamanga is now self-hosted!

What does this mean?

  • First, a domain name. Please update your bookmarks, feeds, etc to https://daiyamanga.com/ instead of the old WordPress.com hosted site.
  • New theme that I hope keeps the accessibility of the site.
  • Posts have been reorganized. Should be much more efficient to find what you want.
  • Expired deals no longer clutter up the main page.
  • A user rating system on posts. Now you can rate the series I review out of 5 diamonds.
  • WordPress.com followers should have been migrated, but if you can’t see (or are a new visitor) Daiyamanga posts in the WordPress Reader, you need to add it manually.

Being as this is just going live, there are bound to be some bugs and glitches. If you notice any major slowdowns, find the site hard to browse, stumble across a broken link, etc., please let me know. I welcome any suggestions.

EDIT: It has come to my attention that many of you have been having problem commenting. I have adjusted some settings and plugins, so please let me know if you are still having issues!

I also hope now that Daiyamanga v2 has launched, I can get back into the swing of things.  My goal is to have more posts and a little more variety in v2. I hope you enjoy the new Daiyamanga!

First Blogoversary Special – “Boss Me Around” Special

Today, Daiyamanga is one year old. I am very grateful to each and every one of you.

Thank You

So to show my gratitude, I offer you, my loyal followers, a chance to boss me around.

Got a good (or bad) series you want me to watch/read? An untranslated game you’d like to see me summarize? Or maybe you have your own challenge for me. Let me know! And if you see a good idea, make sure to reply to others’ comments and/or like to show your support. I can’t promise I’ll do all of them, but I’ll take them into consideration. I know some of you have devious minds…

I will not do any super-long challenges like “watch all One Piece episodes”. Sorry. 🙁

Fun Stats:

  • Almost 16,000 unique visitors for over 60,000 views.

  • Weird search terms include:
    • “these three waste no time and get right into the action, both guys taking care of the girl, stripping her down and eating her out. she then drops to h”
    • “i hate love doll photo”

  • Matt of Matt-in-the-Hat has left the most comments.
